How MNCs can win in the 5G world

5G network architecture is highly reactive, allowing it to support millions of connected objects at once. This will enable far more comprehensive monitoring of sites, and better capability to predict and prevent unexpected events. And close-to-zero latency will allow far more precise control over drones, and new operations that require millisecond-precise timing. Within the field of medicine, it will allow for more efficient and reliable pathways, leading to better patient outcomes. How MNCs can win in the 5G world? FreeMove conducted a paper to collect its members’ live initiatives and to provide a big-picture how MNCs can benefit from the technology. Enjoy reading!

What 5G brings for Enterprises?

5G network architecture is highly reactive, allowing it to support millions of connected objects at once. This will enable far more comprehensive monitoring of sites, and better capability to predict and prevent unexpected events. And close-to-zero latency will allow far more precise control over drones, and new operations that require millisecond-precise timing. The three phases of 5G

2018 – 2020

First iteration of non-standalone 5G radio. Limited coverage and range of 5G capabilities.

2020 – 2022

Standalone 5G and network slicing. Maturing technology and acceleration of roll-out.

2022 Onwards

Networks widely deployed, and network slicing to support new services will be more common and easier to implement.
